Skirt shapes in summer - which fashion goes with which leg shape?

Don't hide your legs! There are short, long, thin, thick legs and those suitable because they are perfectly staged. Style Consultants can only give suggestions. The general sense of beauty decides which skirt shape goes with which leg shape. You decide if the legs are utterly hairless up to the thighs or if they can be covered with a bit of down.

Waxed, sugar-sweetened, shaved, or waxed - now her legs are beautiful and smooth, but the question remains, which skirt goes with which leg shape? Sometimes the legs don't even match the rest of the body. The thighs are too thick, the calves are too full, or the skin is too pale. In addition, each woman has a different figure by nature. The variety knows no limits: narrow hips, broad pelvis, flat or arched buttocks, long or short legs.

Rock 'n' roll: pencil skirt, circle skirt, wrap skirt, mini skirt

Who has the choice ... Yes, we already know that. There is a matching skirt and the correct fashion for every leg and figure shape. All women can wear a dress! However, fashion-conscious Swiss women want answers to these questions: Which skirt style flatters which figure? Does it look cheap or sexy for a short time? What kinds of figures should prefer to refrain from what forms of skirts? What top matches what skirt shape? Or do you like pants? Here we are:

The all-rounder: the wrap skirt

This skirt is suitable for all silhouettes, as the dress adapts perfectly to the female morphology thanks to the wrapping technique. Wrap skirts are available in knee-length or ankle-length versions and, of course, miniskirts. However, with some models, the size of the garment must be taken into account so that the lengths of the fabric are correctly positioned. Tapas go well with that.

Silhouette flattering: circular skirt

A circular skirt is still cut at the bottom, and in principle, it is suitable for all women. Flowy materials and uneven pleats flatter the silhouette, hide little cushions on thighs and hips, and even highlight a too-small butt. Peep toes or flats go well with this skirt shape. The top should be loose, but not too loose.

The classic: the pencil skirt

This skirt shape is perfect for curvy women—the only requirement: flat stomach. But very slim and tall women in pencil skirts look like hungry beans. The pencil skirt is a typical business or secretary outfit and doesn't fit into leisure. It is worn at or just above the waist and reaches just above the knee. Due to the close-fitting cut, a round bottom makes sense, and the core is well-shaped. High heels, preferably peep-toes or pumps, are a must with a pencil skirt. Decorative seam stockings pay homage to the style of the 50s and are very attractive to men. So be careful!

Air number: the balloon skirt

This cut is self-explanatory and is only suitable for slim women. The side of the skirt is fluffy, while it tapers at the top and bottom. It looks like a half-inflated balloon. Women with a lean torso, small breasts, and skinny calves look great with balloon skirts. A hip that is too wide magically disappears, a hip that is too narrow is optically padded. The upper part should be cut thin to highlight the figure perfectly.

On the other hand, too wide atop makes women look like Michelin men. For women with thick calves and muscular torsos, the balloon skirt is a no-go! Mid-heeled shoes pair well with a balloon skirt.

Short, shorter - miniskirt

Very few women want to hear or read it: only girls with a youthful figure of average height (small breasts, narrow hips) wear miniskirts. However, the dimensions of the model are pretty unfavorable. Because the same miniskirt in size 36 looks pretty and elegant on a 165cm woman, but too sexy on a 180cm woman - ergo: cheap. A miniskirt is also not suitable for women who are taller than 180 centimeters.

Slim, well-groomed (absolutely hairless), and trained legs are a must for wearing miniskirts. Solid thighs and calves, as well as love handles, have no place under a miniskirt. The only exception: in combination with leggings. All shoe shapes fit the miniskirt.

If you want to wear skirts, especially you should not go with fashion, you should choose the shape of the dress that best suits your figure.
